Cannot Launch Wildlands

I don't know if Steam makes finding technical support this difficult intentionally or not, but it has been a while since I was this frustraded with a game. I have tried to launch Ghost Recon Wildlands twice now and the same error pops up. The proceedure entry point create_content_shared could not be found in the dynamic library libcef.dll - Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

It's not just steam. Just tried to load a non-Steam version and ran into the same issue. Would also appreciate any help.

I'm very sorry to hear you're coming across this issue getting the game to launch. I can't say that I've encountered this particular issue affecting Wildlands, though have seen some players report that reinstalling Uplay resolved this for other games. Please give this a shot and let me know if it keeps up.

PROBLEM SOLVED!! What I was not connecting is that every game I was having trouble with is a Ubisoft game. What I also didn't know is I did not have Uplay installed on this computer.Once installed... well it solved the issue of the missing code in the libcef.dll file. I hope my mistake and this little piece of information helps others down the road.
