That's like saying "Is the glass half empty or half full?" it's simply a matter of perspective and opinion, both games could be 1st person with optional 3rd person, and vice versa.
Sure I consider them hybrids. But GRW already auto-switches to FPS during combat so not much different, although that can be disabled. Maybe they'll patch in an FPS option for the entire game, but I'm not sure there will be much demand. The game isn't really Battlefield or Insurgency.
Then raise the issue on the UBI forums rather than the Steam forums and you might get somewhere.
BTW, what was the perspective in Future Soldier?
You've already told me that. Look I am all for options. So I am sure you will support me if I go into the Siege forum and ask for a 3rd person view option...
Because Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a co-op/single player third person shooter, adding a first person view wouldn't affect it in the same way that a third person view would affect a competitive FPS. Since it's non-competitive, the balancing issue wouldn't be a problem. It's a whole different ball game, and considering that the Ghost Recon franchise has traditionally been first person on PC, save for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, which was a relative flop on PC, and the fact that you can aim down the sights in first person, it's kinda silly that it isn't already an option.
Exactly, and you people can say what you want but in the end, for shooters, first person > third person. And for those who played fallout and skyrim in 3 rd person- bummer for you. I would also hazard a guess that those who prefer 3rd person for shooters have their gaming roots in consoles, not pc.
I fully agree.
Its obvious with both Skyrim and Fallout that its meant to be played in First Person so third person got no love thats why it works like ♥♥♥♥.
