Bought the game on Steam, bought the Season Pass from Green Man Gaming (Uplay Key)
Season Pass perks such as XP booster, Unidad Costume, Rebel Costume etc work.

But the Narco Road DLC comes up with "You have already downloaded this DLC. Please install it in order to play." everytime I select it.

Restarted PC, Uplay, Steam numerous times, verified the cache. Nothing. Looking at Uplay forums there's alot of people in the same boat.

Bravo Ubisoft, tell me more about how pirates are hurting the gaming industry when you are not providing content to customers who paid money for it.

So your season pass is on Uplay but the body of your game is on Steam? I'm not sure if it works cause the content of the season pass(I mean the actual game instead of those customs) needs to be activated on Steam. You can take my method of installing as an example: I put a check mark in front of the Narco Road( installed 4/18) and then it started to download.

Only after you see the Narco Road appears in the item box then you can install the DLC. It's true that Uplay's season pass is way cheaper and I did consider to do the same thing as you did. But the official forum said that somebody did the same thing for FarCry4 and that person failed.

I can access Season Pass content such as Unidad Missions, Rebel costume items etc.

Different platforms. You cannot combine Steam games and Uplay season passes. You should have bought it on Steam too.

Extra contents like costumes, bought Uplay points can be accessed in games except contents in season passes. That's why Uplay keys on third-party websites are usually cheaper than Steam keys.
Actually, you got what you bought. You take responsibility for what you paid for. As myself, I had bought buy games from third-party websites for years until I found the way to buy cheaper than before. Lol.

It means u are very impatient, you must have start playing wildlands the moment u open up steam, do this:
Close all.
Start steam.
WAIT.
DLC starts downloading 5.2gb showing below the screen.
After dl finish, start playing.
Thank me later

This doesn't work, it is not the issue. Verified cache etc, still doesn't work.

Had I actually known paying for content from two sources was this problematic I wouldn't have.
I thought I was getting a steam key when I made the purchase.
Someone else made the purchase with PayPal via UPLAY and received a Steam Key because their PayPal was linked to steam, they owned the game on Uplay so they have the reverse problem.

did they send you a email with the season pass key and have you tried to activate it in the steam app and see if it works that way and if that don't work try to activate it in the game if you can find your key thats how i activated my season pass key then you have to let it download if it works. good luck on getting your season pass working and if not contact ubisoft to see if they might help you

Activated the key a week ago on Uplay and received access imediately to season pass missions and content like unidad conspiracy missions in media de luna (or wherever it is) as well as getting the rebel costume and gun.

Which is why I thought it was working fine.

No luck with getting the DLC to work though. I managed to find a ubisoft forum thread where about 40+ people have the same issue, but ubisoft forums are down now.

As for people saying Steam/Uplay are different platforms, yeah, they are, but they are often integrated. For example my STEAM bought GRW game reads as UPLAY ACTIVATION in my library. and of course launching the game on steam launches it in uplay.

Can u play the game through u play since u have to put the cd key from steam in uplay just start up u play and leave steam off , then u should be fine

I have never had any issue like you said. You bught on Uplay, the game should be added to Uplay instantly, and Steam too. There is no cd keys sent via email or paypal.

You cannot play Steam games without opening Steam. Even Uplay games on Steam.

It's different you know.

If you buy Uplay games, you will get it on Uplay, not Steam. It won't associate with Steam platform.

But Steam games, especially Uplay. If you buy Uplay games on Steam, they will be added to Uplay too (it means you still have to activate Steam-Uplay games on Uplay, you must have Steam and Uplay run at the same time to play tho). But, you will still need to use Steam in order to play those Uplay games. Any season passes or DLCs must be made on Steam, through Steam platform. Except extra costumes which can be bought by Uplay points/coins will work with Steam-Uplay games.

You maybe didnt notice from the original post.
Core game - bought on steam.
Season Pass - bought via green man gaming (cd key, assumed it was steam). The key is actually uplay key.

Redeemed the key on uplay, when I play the game it says I own season pass, get season pass skins, bonuses, missions etc.

DLC however says I have downloaded, but not installed the content and refuses to work.

More people with the same problem here.
