Which is why I'm not holding my breath waiting for it, even though I'd love to have it, I hate 3rd person in a shooter. And before someone asks "so why did you buy it?", the game was a gift, otherwise I wouldn't have it.
Ghost Recon is third person, and always has been (with exception of the first few games)
And top down view as well.
Yep totally true, even though it's a TPS only since 2011 on PC, that's what ? Three games out of eight on TPS comared to FPS ? It'as also has been a TPS for 6 years out of 16 years of existence ? (I'm only talking about the pc version), so yeah It has ALWAYS been a TPS.... since 2011 and three games.
I guess Wildlands is exactly what I expected it to be, and it is enjoyable, but I just really wanted that open world GRAW, hell a open world Future Soldier would have been fun too.
Oh, for those interested.

this game looked like Fary Cry, which I played a lot of
It did say first person and the aiming mode is first person
GTA V has both first person and third person. When I read that this game had both I understood it this way
It's such an odd choice to only have 1st person for shooting
