How to hit your mark every time (Sniper Guide) + scope sighting numbers
step 1: Pick your scope, each scope as well as having differant zoom's have differant range markings that you should really be checking the distances for.

step 2: before you pull the trigger and miss the target just slow down for a second and press B to bring up your binoculars. PRO TIP: the binoculars have a rangefinder on it that will tell you the exact distance to your target.

step 3: use step 1 and 2 as well as the few brain cells the enemy hasn't blown out of your head yet to line up a perfect shot.

step 4: pull the trigger and never miss a sniper shot again.

i just noticed there aren't anything that tests the scopes so i will to my own tests and put the numbers on here for each of the scopes

all of these tests will/have been done with the G28 rifle and on the salt plains and firing at the lights on a truck so does not take into account firing angles or targers smaller than the lights.

TA31H (acog):

center scope = 0m - 150
first line = 200m
second line = 250m
third line = 300m
fourth line = 400m
fifth line (bottom) = 500m

tests with G28 (scope):

center scope = 0m - 150m
first hollow dot = 250m
first line = 300m
second hollow dot = 350m
second line = 400m
third hollow dot = 450m
third line = 500m
(every marking is just + 50m per marking)

T5Xi Tactical:

center crosshair is again 0m - 150m
first line = 250m
second line = 400m
third line = 550m
fourth line = 700m
fifth line = 850m
sixth line 1000m
seventh line = 1150m
and you guessed it they are just going up by 150m each time

Don't short and long barrels change things up too?

yes they do but all sniper rifles have the same stats when it comes to bullet drop so these numbers should be accurate if you are using the standard barrel

Sorry if i'm being dumb, but in the t5xi if they go up 150m each time, wouldn't the first mark bellow middle be 300m?

Not being dumb, guide is old I wouldn't trust it. Going to be different for each weapon, stats be damned, best to test and get comfortable with one or 2 weapons.
The M4oa5 with T5xi the first line below red cross is 300m, the T5xi on the MSR and it's hitting 250m even though it's "more Powerful" it has a much bigger drop.
Personally I prefer a higher rate of fire than damage. M4oa5 is a good all rounder.
