Variants of an explosive-style drone are already in service with some militaries, and it's not too difficult to imagine that the technology will become more compact in the next few years. From a gameplay perspective, the explosive drone can be pretty useful for squad support on co-op for clearing out stairwells or entrenched positions (i.e. mortars). If you're going semi-realistic then I suppose you don't want to be setting off explosions everywhere and you should be able to stealth anything you put your mind to, but the explosive drone is a good fallback measure.

Bear in mind that you need a single point in every skill on the tree in order to unlock the elite skill. The game assumes you'll want to try and max out the tree, so the elite skills are gated with this in mind!
Well thought out challenge, though :3
Body Armour. Your guys would be wearing something under his shirt, or plates in his vest. With that in mind, would any segments into Bullet Resistance give a realistic approximation of your normal military issue armour, or would even one upgrade be considered OP?
Also, Vehicle Destruction. While I loathe the thought of painting my bullets with adamantium, there are times where I feel the big kickers such as the HTI and MSR should be able to cripple an engine block with one shot. Typically, one shot will just be above the "get out and run, it's gonna blow" threshold that NPCs have. A second would destroy the vehicle totally, annoying when convoy hunting.
So much so I've been using a LMG more often to stop convoys, mixed results, but more controllable.
To paraphrase Darth Vader; I find your lack of relevance disturbing.
