I play very high. Why do you need 60 fps. I play fine with 45 - 55

Some settings even on ULTRA

GTX970 here and I play very high, motion blur turned off (this is just a matter of preference and has nothing to do with performance), and the extra foliage (I forgot what its called), enabled.

You are not going to die if you drop some settings to medium,the graphics will still be great.I played the division medium with 1 or 2 settings to high with my old gtx 970

High preset should work with v-sync off and lock at 50 or even 60. Not in big towns, i should say...

i5 2400 16GB Memory and a GTX 970 OC

1080p
all settings are high-ultra only viewdistance and shadows are normal
textures = high
motionblur is off because i don't like that
in Videsettings you can lock your fps ! i locked them at 40 fps. its smooth enough to enjoy this game ! its not important to have 60 -120 fps like in BF1 and some other FPS Shooter
Disasterpiece Apr 2, 2017 @ 10:23am
not important?

well each their own. most games including this is unplayable below around 50fps for me..

i have a 7700k with nvidia 1070 and in jungles i go down to 40s even 30s. and my settings arent even all ultra. i dont think thats acceptable.

The game's frame rate dips due to streaming textures from your drive; so an SSD should (theorectically) help.
Saying that, I still get the odd micro stutter while textures swap in and out of VRAM.
