Possibly.
When on the desktop i right clicked on the icon in the bottom right of the screen that looked like a computer with an ethernet cord or wireless signal. I selected open network and sharing center.
From there it told me that i was on public....but it needs to be on private....
I looked up how to force switch the profiles over because in win10 you can't right click change it.
I also disabled firewall on private side too. And we can play upwards of 8 hours stretches and no problems. (maybe have the friend check too)
1. Check and change status from public to private.
2. disable firewall for the game or for whole computer.....which ever gets result.
3. have friend do the same....if it is still happening or just in case.
