Uncontrollable Menu Scrolling

When I get to the main menu, sometimes the menu is scrolling down uncontrollably. If I plug in a wired game controller, the scrolling stops...even though a gamepad is not enabled in the options controller setup. This plugging in a gamepad to the USB port to stop the scolling is everytime I start a game.

Thnking it was a bad gamepad, I bought a new wireless Logitech Gamepad 710.

Now the menu was not scrolling when I get to the main menu.

Thinking I had the problem fixed, I went to the Options Controller menu to enable my new gamepad. When I Applied the setting, the menus started scrolling down again. and had to click the "reset" option to take the controller settings back to default.

I can not figure out what is causing my gamepad or scrolling menu issue. I have unplugged my G13 controller and keyboard and gamepad and the menu starts the scrolling routine everytime when game is started.

Plugging in a wired gamepad will stop the scrolling. Then I unplug the gamepad and game works. If I plug in the wireless gamepad and then enable the gamepad in setup options, back to scrolling.

Any ideas?

On your specific issue no, but I can offer a similar experience. There are a number of games that will do that to me when I have my joystick plugged in. It was because of the throttle control was giving a constant input. If I centered that control, or unplugged the device before starting the program, the problem went away.
