Constant freezing while playing
My game is constantly freezing while I'm playing. Whether I'm driving, running, flying, or just standing still, the entire game will just freeze for 1-2 seconds. It's getting almost impossible to play now since I can't get into a gun fight without my game freezing. I turned my settings down to medium from Ultra and I'm still having issues.

Do you have a GSync monitor? Had a friend that was freezing/crashing with GSync turned on. Turning it off fixed the issues.
Do you notice this happening during autosaves? That has been reported a lot.
try turning off turf interactions also
and vsync in game
Same for me. Happend alot in the beta too. I run on ultra settings and get a solid framerate in the upper 80s but I get ALOT of random freezes for a split second. Sometimes multiple freezes right in a row. Lasts only a second or two but it's really frequent. :/

SPECS:

MOBO: MSI Gaming X99 GAMING 7
CPU: INTEL 5930K
GPU: GTX 1070 FE (latest drivers)
RAM: 16GB DDR4
Yeah, if you notice this mostly when you mark a bunch of supplies in quick succession, the easy solution is to uninstall Uplay from your HDD and install in on an SSD (if you have one).

Unless the game is autosaving like, every few seconds during a fight, I don't think it's the issue. It might be causing issues out of combat, but I don't think that it's the main cause of the problem that I'm having.

I will try that out tonight, thank you!

It does autosave every few seconds in a fight. Check the bottom right-hand corner when you get a freeze, if it's a skull flashing, the game is autosaving. Now pay attention to this every time it freezes. Dollars to donuts, that's your problem.

The solution, insomuch as there is one, is to let your game world fully load before engaging in combat or long-distance (high risk) travel. To do this, just load your game into the world and let your character play with their pud for 10-15 minutes. If this is your issue, your game world should be fully loaded by then and your problems with autosave freezing and hiccups should be mostly (if not entirely) solved.
Same here still with the latest patch.

Game is pretty funny but freezes are kinda irritants.

This was the issue. I never noticed the icon in the bottom right. I will start hanging out before doing anything, thanks!!

This issue is among the ones that are being currently investigated by the developers. A fix for this might come in the next patch, scheduled for the end of the month.
My issue is pretty much gone since the patch. Only happens every once in a while now :D
