Yeah, they usually land though. EMP is by far the best drone loadout imo. Convoys and capture missions are cake with it, especially the ones where you can't just light up the car because there is a hvt in it.

EMP Drone is awesome. it disables most base defenses all vehicles and makes night-time missions a lot darker.

Not always.
I was in one Unidad base, there was small petrol generator, I did used my EMP drone 3 times , nothing worked, the power was still there.

I have never disabled a moving vehicle with it. Ground based vehicles do the emp visual, but keep driving, and helicopters just seem to ignore it.

I've stopped moving vehicles with it but sometimes it seems to derp a little. Usually they coast for a distance before stopping when hit by the EMP though, they don't stop dead.

Depending on the terrain they may be rolling downhill and not driving. Eventually they can recover.

Probably because it's a generator, it PRODUCES power. And it runs off of a fuel, you can't power off petrol with electricity.

You can only disable the big box generators, the ones with the big on/off safety switch on the side that you can operate, the ones that you can tag, the other ones are just make-believe eye-candy. The small generator is not even programmed connection to anything, you cannot disable it.

EMP on convoys seems to be a crapshoot in tier mode, IME. I just spawn the cobra chopper, blow up all escorts, and have my gunner take pot shots at the main vehicle until the driver gets out -- land left side facing away from target so you don't get aimbotted when you exit the chopper, take out the armed passenger while utilizing cover -- 12k resources easy.
