Anyway I liked GR FS more than Advance Warfighter 2 but GR Desert Seige/Advance Warfighter(1) and Endwar were truly some of the classic Tactical FPS/RTS.Anyway if they keep the same mechanics in the newer game then people will complain about it being the same s*** every year.Imo game that knows how to change with years are better than games that are stubborn and stays the same year after year with only some polished graphics and some meh story(but that's just me).
Example - Far Cry after 3(same thing with different locations and **** storyline)
If the OP's baseline perception of Ghost Recon is that it should be like Future Soldier, I assume he never played the originals. And if he never played the originals, I assume he's probably a relative newcomer to tac shooters. People don't typically pick up new genres later in life, so my guess is that he's younger. Remember, the first Ghost Recon came out almost 16 years ago. There are many current players who were infants or toddlers then who probably weren't playing games during what I think were the golden years of tactical shooters.
Ghost Recon Future Soldier was barely even in the same genre as GRAW and the old Ghost Recons. Wildlands comes close to recapturing former glory, but doesn't quite get there. Can you imagine the tactical depth of the old GR games strapped to a massive, incredibly detailed open world like the one in GRW? If you don't think that could sell like hotcakes, you're fooling yourself. Very few people are going to complain that reboot feels too much like a franchise's origins. That's sort of the point of reboots.
I said i liked Future soldier more than Advance Warfighter 2(not 1) because I liked the campaign of future soldier and the characters and they both were third person shooter. The one ghost recon I didn't like was Phantoms .__.
#1: Future Soldier was a terrible console port that was recieved poorly. Nobody wanted another Future Soldier
#2: You need to unlock more "sync marks" and can mark up to 3, allowing you to kill 4 enemies at once just like Future Soldier
#3: You can take off in your car/helicopter and your AI teammates will teleport directly into your vehicle, you DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT
#4: Helicopters control perfectly fine, learn to fly. Use a controller if you're that bad at flying.
#5: This isn't a steam review, this is a discussion post.. learn how to use this program or get lost.
There were plenty of gameplay videos and streams out there about the game before release showing off the gameplay etc.
Unless you were media blackout on this title then you should have known what the game was going to be like, to a degree.
You made the choice to buy the game - it's your fault you were expecting a different experience, not the game.
Def the BEST GAME. sorry
