Disable dynamic contrast?
Like the title says, is there a way to disable this very annoying feature? The lighting in this game is constantly screwing with you, even with the brightness and gamma being adjusted. You can't see a thing, then the nightvision blinds you from a candle in the corner and there's a constant fluctuation of black nothing-ness to way too bright blinding light.

It seems like you can't find the comfortable "middle ground". I don't get it, in a lot of places. it's too dark to see anything and even with night vision it's still either too dark, or way too bright.

I've also noticed that the enemies are not affected by lighting conditions whatsoever which kind of bugs me.

And no, I do not have dynamic anything turned on, on my monitor. It's not my hardware, it's the game.

It's not so much having to do with the contrast or brightness settings so much as the game using a hard-coded HD lighting feature that simulates a person's eyes adjusting to the light.

Though I have my settings at default, and it shouldn't be blinding as you're putting it out. If you're gaming on an HDTV, maybe you have some settings messing with it?

Click on Start, type 'services', Right-click and choose 'Run as administrator'. Click on 'Intel(R) HD Graphics Control Panel Service' from the list. In the General tab click on 'Startup type', select 'Disabled', OK, and restart the computer. Also, you might have to do this again if the windows updates your Intel graphics driver.

Well, my problem is that it's completely pointless for me to even wear NVGs because the nights are too bright, even if I have darkest nights on
