disabling AA?
just wondering, if i keep going through the story missions, will i be able to disable the AA emplacments globally, or do i have to find each of them and destroy them myself? they are getting a bit annoying.

Sorry, whats AA?

Anti Air.craft The S.A.M. emplacements or Surface to Air Missiles.

Edit: The missiles are easy to avoid but I'd assume you need to find them individually nonetheless. Use a controller, easier to control all forms of transportation in this game. It's absolutely rediculous with a keyboard.

theyre not so common, just in a couple of areas
progress and move on they wont be a problem

Oh ok...

Yeah the missiles are not super hard to avoid but they're kinda broken. You can go there and destroy a SAM and its gonna respawn incredibly fast. So dont bother destroying them, fly low and use alt to help you to get out of the way

Yes, you need to blow them up, but they will respawn ;)
Or, just evade the missiles, isnt that hard unless you are stationary.

i wish when you complete a base and eliminate the forces they didn't respawn. I used to clear the whole base but now i just kill the guys in my way and leave the ones that present no threat in my stealth flow.

Some counter measures on certain choppers are needed...

hmm, i just hope there wont be too much flying missions, i had tosteal an airplane and land it in a field close to a bunch of AA emplacements, i did mennaged to avoid them and land, but it was annoying (easier to avoid with choppers for some reason)

missiles can be dodged pretty easy in a chopper, but yeah some flares would be nice.

Only flying missions I've encountered thus far are the rebel side missions.

True, but it does make me wonder; will shooting the Flare gun work as a distraction for incoming missiles?

Doubtful as the game has pretty lame tactical gameplay as-is. :P

well since you are in the chopper you can't shoot a flare, but thats basicaly what counter measures are on aircraft.
