Can't move and look around at the same time [On controller]
I wanted to see if anyone else was having this issue, or if anyone knows a fix. I am not that good with a keyboard and mouse; never did much pc gaming, because of this I use a controller which has been my xbox one controller. But I have noticed that when I am walking or moving in any way, that I can't pan/move the camera around at the same time. This happens even when aim, and driving. Anyone else having this issue?

I use a wired 360 controller and not having any issues. Is the xbox one controller officially supported by Steam? If so, maybe there are some user profiles you can try that have solved the issue.

yeh this game doesnt have free 3rd person camera. its locked on over the shoulder camera, so you cant do a 360 degree with your camera while walking.

Which is strange because you can do a 360 view while moving with a mouse and keyboard.

I'm not sure if steam has support for the xbox one controller or not. I mean, it is the same as a 360 controller in a away so I'm not sure why there wouldn't be. But there might be more to it then I know.

Right analog not working when aiming gun.
Hi. I’m having this issues with my Xbox controller when playing. Whenever I go into aim mode with my gun, my right analog no longer works. It works when I’m just moving around but whenever I aim my gun and try to move it, it doesn’t do anything. It’s driving me nuts. I have this game installed on my other laptop on a separate account and it works just fine. Anyone had an issue like this before? Or what to do to fix it? Any help is appreciated.

I know this might sound daft; But can you remap Right Analog to Right Analog

i know im late for this fix im sure he already figured it out but while your wireless controller is still activated you go to library> right click ghost recon wildlands> manage > then click controller configuration> once in click the gameplay tab where the controller is shown in the middle of the screen then select the right thumb stick then the (in game action, CHANGE to and select CAMERA/STICK for the right stick of your controller then go back to the game and youll be able to move while panning looking around or aiming at the same time instead of using one of the other which is annoying, this has to be done for the other tabs as well for helicopter, drone, etc, hope this helps someone

Does this work with a wired controller as well?

I started having this exact same problem the other day. Did you find a fix? I'm using a PS5 controller but it worked fine for 140 hours and then....

Hi,

I have merged your posts with another thread for the same issue. Can you please try the suggestion provided by 'abraham454' in this thread and confirm if it resolves the issue.

I found the fix. I basically just had to leave the controller configuration on steam on general gamepad. When I had Xbox controller support selected it did not work. Which is strange. So I just left the controller options for general game pad and steam controller checked and it worked. Thank you for all the suggestions.

ive only been using a ps4 controller and using an acer nitro 5 laptop for wildlands, i haven't tried an xbox wireless remote or pc wired remote for this fix. but its still working normal. If using any bluetooth/wireless controller and is working fine then later on it stops working you might have to reset the remote and resync it to your laptop/desktop computer again. ill try to keep checking back every few often for comments and help out with any other issues
