Yes Always
It is well documented, and even Microsoft had confirmed that.
as to the original question I'd think part of it also has to do with pc users can lower there graphics to see the enemy better.
- When it comes to competitive shooters, mouse and keyboard will always dominate over controllers
- When it comes to competitive shooters, PC will have higher resolution, better frame rate, AA and better render distance which will have a better advantage over console players.
As nice as it would be to play with my PS4 bros in CO-OP campaign, with PVP coming in the future, i doubt they'd implement cross platform unless they completely restrict cross platform PVP.
Yes, yes it is. It's proven fact that aiming with a mouse is WAAAAAAAAAY more accurate and much faster when it comes to moving from point A to point B on a screen.
Console games actually always help you. If you've ever played a shooter on a console, it's kind of like playing a game with a minor cheat on: Aim assistance. It'll help you be more accurate and follow targets once in your sights. Some are stronger than others (For example having aim assist on black ops III means that once someone is in your sights, you can let go of the right stick and automatically track them as they run around)
But that pales in comparison to being able to aim with your mouse.
Zinkaghost made a very...VERY stupid comparison. Dark souls is not a shooter. Dark souls is a terrible PC port, and Dark souls was created with a controller in mind. Believe it or not, shooters originated on PC's. and while console markets are taking over for the most part, when it comes to playing at big tournaments or for prizes, PC's are used because it's the only way to see who has actual aiming skills rather than crutching on auto-aims.
