Why can't I get this case?? L115A3 Sniper Rifle

Why can I not pick up this case? I don't have the gun, and the map says only 1 case but there should be 2. Any Idea?

This is a glitch I had happen with other weapons more than once. Just look up the location of the case. It is still there it just is not on the map.

I'm having a similar problem with the M40A5 and the Panoramic Sight you can find in the first couple of missions, I had found them before on previous saves, but on my main playthrough i've started they are visible ingame, but not on map and are unable to be picked up.

Also nowhere to be found in my loadout either, they are shown as locked.

There are glitches occasionally where either collectibles or missions are not able to be interacted with. It does go away after time, I suspect it's related to the whole disc access speed thing that is also affecting driving, flying and the tacmap...

I resolved this by uninstalling from an external HDD and reinstalling on an SSD.

Got tired of the frame freezes and this very issue. Not had it since.

i put in a support ticket, if you put your uplay in offline mode and then restart uplay and the game you may be able to use the case, they did say this doesnt work 100%

Unfortunately not got an SSD yet :( one of the next things on my list though.
