Longest sniper kill?

Just wondering what you guys' longest recorded sniper kill is so far. They seem to only load in the 500m range, but after marking them I've tried to go uphill a bit and snipe them. My longest sniper kill is 541m with a HTI sniper with Tars101 scope.

Longest i have hit is 1641, we have done some work on it and noticed that the round doesnt do any damage past that even though we can see the rounds trail....

you cant, bullets disapear somewhere around 1,6 i'm going to try with 3 friends to see if with someone near that limite the bullet continue to exists. problably not, kinda like GTA they must be hardcoded to cease existance at certain range......in gta at least you could mod it.

793 lucky random shot on a distant blurry chopper I guess, I can't get anything else to stay spawned in above 700 meters in singleplayer, even slowly backing away from them while scoped in.

I saw someone with 2.4km record in his profile. I asked him how, and he said he got some help from buddy.

Basically, objects render in around 825m in this game and render out around that distance as well. So, you need someone to hold the enemy(capture in arm) to not make him render out and hold him in certain position.

After that, you get away 2.4km from that guy and start shoot him.
Your buddy holding the enemy can tell you where the bullet lands and you can correct your shot.

That's it.

Me and my friend went out sniping, trying out the limits - my longest recorded shot was at 1327 meters aka 1,2 km away.

I don't remember where exactly but it was near one of those "Clear the Building" supply runs near by the forest up, I was looking far downhill from the highest spot in the forest and hit a clean shot in his neck (my friend said it was around head-neck area).

Well, an update to this. I believe the utmost Max Range before the bullets despawn regardless of trajectory, is at 3,100 Kilometes. The Max that I have personally seens is 3,080 though (myself with 3,077k and my buddy with 3,068k).

3100km? So a bullet has the range of an ICBM huh?

Are you saying out of all the times I used a period stating as such with 3.(whatever)Km all throughout my posts? You could'nt tell that was a typo?
