Not working for me either. I have bought the game on Steam and Uplay but encounter the same issue on both platforms of the splash screen showing for a few seconds then disappearing with no message.
-I have tried verifying the integrity of all files from Steam and Uplay.
-I have installed the game on my os drive and one of the other internal drives in my computer while having Steam and Uplay already installed on the os drive.
-I tried repairing the directx, vc redists and EAC.
-I've tried launching the game through Steam, Uplay and both executables in the game folder when installed through Steam and Uplay.
I first bought the game through G(2)A.com in the form of a Steam Gift so I can't get a refund on that and apparently Uplay doesn't handle refunds the same way Steam does which means that I've spent $115 for 2 copies of the standard edition of the game and have gotten nothing to show for it. Hopefully there is a fix before "late March/ early April".
Edit: Figured that I would add my pc specs
i7 4930k at 4.5GHz
780ti
Samsung 840 evo - os drive
WD Caviar Black - the other internal drive I installed the game on
16gb ram
rampage iv black edition motherboard

I found that my download settings in Uplay had changed from my "E:/Ubisoft Game Launcher/games/" to the default C:programfiles (x86)/Ubisoft Game Launcher/games/
I deleted both versions of the folders, and reinstalled Uplay and setting the location back to my E:
Game runs again with no loss of data.
Hope this helps.
