How do I make my session open?

I would kind of like if random people were able to join me so that I can find some people to play with, is there way to make my session avaliable for randoms to join?

i cant find it either, so im starting to assume that public sessions are controlled by the ubisoft servers and not by the players. That would explain why you can kick people in a private session, but not in a public one.

I did that and it puts me in someone elses game, I want people to join me.

i think he means to start his own public game running off of his save in his world. Not joining others :)

and like i said, i dont think its possible, its probably random and rare.

well people ALWAYS join my saved world when I have 1 friend join my game first and I use matchmaking after so not sure about solo players.

Not sure but random will only be able to join your game freely if you have Open NAT.Otherwise you have to invite them/or they have to ask for invite and only friends can join your session.

Could always make a discussion post asking for people to play with :) I've seen it on this game and many others, and they are usually a huge success!

I think they didn't make it that way because I don't think the save "progression" matters. Main missions are repeatable, and other players will get a prompt if they wish to join other players in a side mission that they have completed but they haven't. Because it still gives them extra XP, it gives them incentive to do it. There are no gateways or roadblocks in the entire map either.

Basically the "hosts" progression shouldn't be blocking off what others can do. (Although I wish you could replay side missions even without joining on someone who hasn't done it, not just the convoys.)
