Crashing constantly

Like the title says, the game is constantly crashing. Performance is worse than the beta so I've had to drop my graphics quality from v high to just high but I'm only getting an hour max between crashes - usually when I bring up the map is what is causing the game to hang. I've literally had it happen within 3 minutes of firing it up.

Certainly wasn't like this in the beta, it's worse for me by far. My system is extremely stable too, this is the first game that's crashed on my comp in ages.

I was getting the same thing, I went into the files and re-installed the runtime libraries and the easy anti cheat. It's running more smoothly now, but who knows how long that will last.

It seems like none of my ubisoft games have been functioning properly through the steam client lately

It's maddening because you keep having to redo sections of missions only to crash mid way again and it isn't even like there is any big set pieces or anything going on that may precipitate a crash. Just open the map and it hangs.

I get constant crashes too, usually upon loading into the game.
Sometimes when the game auto-saves.
Seems to always be related to saving or loading something.

I did everything, even upgraded ram from 8 to 16. The only two things i did that finally fixed this were 1) Validating Steam game files (didnt find anything wrong) 2) The more likely solution was to launch the game via the Steam\steamapps\common\Wildlands\rungame.exe AS ADMINISTRATOR. Doing that actually launched the Easyanticheat installer the first time and hasnt run since. Obviously steam didnt install things correctly for some of us.

it's crash city for me, I get the hard freeze and have to reboot my pc. No fun just heart ache and a deep sadness across the house.
