Single player Ai can shoot throgh walls!
If you use the sync shot with the Single player Ai they will take a few seconds to say they can shoot the target and then even if they dont have a clear line of sight they will still say they can shoot them. apon shooting a bullet of your own anywere they will shoot the target through the wall. A perfect example of this is the very first boss of the game. In the room behind the glass with the minigun and a few grunts plus the boss and his partner you can mark the grunts and without opening the door you can make your ai teammates take out everyone in the room imidiatly. Of course you cant use this to cheese the boss because they are considered civilian untill you alert them and well Ai wont sync shot civilians!

In my opinion that makes this game waaaay too easy alone. I mean im on the hardest dificulty cruising through the game.

I've noticed this too... Although when I played earlier today I set up a sync shot and the AI told me he could not get a clear line of sight.

I occasinally get a no clear line of sight but for the most part they can shoot through walls.

a few seconds after sync tagging usually it comes up, sometimes it takes 8-10 seconds then appears if they are in a building then if you don't hit the command fast enough it'll go back to flashing, I say they should fix this issue as I do agree it makes it way too easy

example: tag 2 people outside then tag someone inside a building wait for it to sync up and kill all 3 even though logically it shouldn't have gone through

even more so another issue is you can your squad anywhere, I usually place them 100 or so meters away from a town/city and they can kill from just that position even though not just through 1 wall but through actual several buildings

100% if someone is outside they will automatically identify them, in buildings it varies when it tags up then flash tags at random but most of the time will happen after a few seconds

Hum yes and no... once I tagged someone inside building and they never managed to lock it. Even with mutliple attemps. My guess is when you are shooting from very far, maybe the game is not taking in count the full rendering of objects on high distance and believes there is nothing to stop bullet? lol it's silly..

The AI is horrible in the game in general. As long as you yourself stay unspotted, your teamates are 100% invisable to the enemy AI. I watched them shove each other all stuck on a staircase trying to path past each other lol.

definitely not true, I had them following me while I was using the drone during a side mission as a teammate wanders out into the open beyond the wall I was behind and an enemy engaging them at the time, more stupidity of AI than anything and totally not invisible, in most areas where you tell them to stay put they'll somewhat be invisible but they can be detected if the enemy walks by, but this poses a problem when choppers arrive as they tend to move around as well as trying to order them in specific buildings on separate floors they'll instead wander around outside never actually entering the building at all

Sad... Gotta fix that soon.

Restrict yourself is always the best way to keep up having fun. So don't sync-tag enemies behind walls.

I even always try to use no sync shots at all
Or as less as possible..
This makes it harder staying stealth and it is much more fun..... Just like for example Deus ex human revolution.
Use distraction amole nade or drone noise instead to keep it stealth

Really? I've noticed that since the beta the syncing has changed. It seems you actually have to have a direct LOS to actually execute sync shots now. If you queue it up, but then try and tell them to fire without actually aiming near them yourself, (or at least not without going ADS in general, haven't tried just aiming away yet) nothing happens.

They also teleport to revive teammates, spot enemies through walls and do other crazy stuff.

If I can help it, I usually either invite a friend (mainly because it removes all friendly AI) or tell them to wait so they don't interfere.

Eh, I don't really consider them fully detracting from the experience, so I just play at a harder diff.

Who I wish wouldn't interfere though is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Rebels. I swear I was trying to stealth a base down and was doing fine till the end. I had just a few targets up, executing sync shots perfectly with the AI, kneel down look behind me, face forward, and then IMMEDIATLEY check behind again because I heard a quiet "thump." Turns out a whole Rebel truck managed to...I dunno, FALL FROM THE SKY or something because it was lopsided on barrels etc, and here come the Rebels storming in like Rambo....irritating. Either give them silencers or don't have them attack unless I cause an alert.

Yeh rebels are weird. Yesterday I saw a rebel pickup with a mounted minigun just chilling inside a restricted unidad airbase.

Neither unidad nor the rebels in the pickup seemed to bother. Guess they just visited some buddys there.

Well to the Rebels credit, if you're still undetected but the rebels charge in, you're still hidden. But now you're trying to snipe at targets that are moving around wildly, which can cause a miss and detection anyway.

I don't really mind it that much. Rebels, civilians and similar are sort of an uncontrollable factor that you just have to take into account.

As long as it doesn't happen too often that is ^^.

they are programmed not real. yeah sometimes you see that teamates dont have a clear sight but still shoot because ai program think they can, why? since this game isnt linear, there are many exceptions need to solve and this is not easy even this is not a ubi game.
in The last of us, you can always see Ellie run around enemies but dont get spotted, cuz designers dont want an AI brings you some trouble so does GRW.

If the game actually had an actual "real-time" faction war and not just a way of showing progression, I would feel better about them attacking whenever they want.

By real-time, I mean the Cartel actually tries to fight back for terrority throughout the game (and endgame, the whole reason for this) so it gives the player something else to do....like optional randomly generated side missions the player can do to help the cause. (Like the side missions in game but just, you know, random and infinte.) This wouldn't progress the game at all, but it would make things easier and it never ends.

But no...just have all the content and thats that, like all the other games. =( At least the game seems super long.
