Texts are not in english

I preordered this game right after the open beta and didn't notice that the purchase was in russian and chinese. Now I see that all texts are in russian and there is no way to change them to english. I don't want this sh*tty russian translation. I want the original english texts as it was in open beta. A refund request is not an option for me because in that case I would have to rebuy it for higher price. I mean the deluxe edition. I don't know what to do.

Yeah...its just how Russia and China giving problem to non Russian/Non chinese who just happen to live there. If you live there, you will get either one of thos language and usually English is not in the same package T_T

Try contact Ubi and see if they can help ya out.

ahahaha, no, you cant cheat Ubi you've got what you deserve, buy game for your country price, and don't use VPN(also steam is banning people for that), there was message that russian chinese and english (audio only) and you cant doing anything with that :D cheap whiners i love you guys <3 Also if you live in China/Russia and can't speak their native language... lol wtf are you doing here lol?

No need to. I am a native russian speaker and I live in Russia. I just don't want to play this game with this terrible russian translation. For some unknown reason they decided to translate Unidad as Единство while even the english version has the spanish word Unidad as is. This is more than stupid imho.

Im also looking for someone to upload the language files of the game. The voice is in english so that is better than other games, but having the UI in another language is quite annoying.There was a warning and it was expected as Ubi does the same with every game, it will just take a while for someone to post the files and then you can edit the language.

I bought it from steam and i have english language in game, i have alot of languages in game i can choose!
so idk how people are having these languages issues buying the game on steam!

Well, I am in the CIS region. Ubisoft offers us a discounted version that, I assume, contains only Russian and Chinese texts + English audio.

What every person complaining in such threads wants is to be able to buy without a hassle a region-free version with English text and English audio for the price Ubisoft wants the rest of the world outside the CIS or other restricted regions to pay.

Now I see that they translated not only Unidad word but also El Sueno and other bosses' names. And all the weapons that have meaningful names are translated to russian too. Holy f*ck!
So I contacted Ubisoft support and they suggested me to request a refund.
