Does Ghillie suit do anything besides look cool?

anything you wear is cosmetic only. it may help in 4v4 PVP though, unless hackers.

It's just asthetics. Pretty sure the AI can see you just as well no matter what you're wearing, so wear what you think is cool.

The upcoming 4v4 PvP mode though....yeah, pretty sure you'll blend in quite well.

If anything, when I see some one wearing a ghillie I get an idea of what type of playstyle the player prefers.

Wonder if anyone will ever invest the time and money to create AI that can discern shrubbery from somebody in a ghille suit? Would be pretty damn cool to actually use environmental camoflauge to get through areas rather then just looking at the typical cone of vision and waiting for them to pass.

IMO the character looks better without the ghillie. Should get the option to change the apperance of your character whenever you want to :/

The color of suits and the color of environment should play a role in this game to some degree as far as stealth mechanics go. This would make for more purpose in the set up of your character (suit, gun camo, so on) and what effects it may have on your gameplay.

No, they dont blend, because anyone who lowers their settings for PVP (talking about going all low settings for PVP and better visibility) They have drawing range on max, but foliage nope. They can see you.
