Why buy this?
A watch dogs 2 clone gameplay wise, with the all-generic cartels story wise. Seems boring and uninteresting.

A better question, why start yet another thread asking the exact same question? You're not exactly being unique here.....

Now I've heard it all. You're the first I've seen to compare it to Watch Dogs 2, a game literally about hacking more than shooting and causing a ruckus. "Oh, this game is open world too, so it's just like it."

How the hell is this even close to watch dogs 2 besides being 3rd person and from ubisoft?

I guess you didn't play the beta; that was more or less enough for most of us to decide.

Making and customizing your own player character.

No pseudo-sci-fi story.

Playing with 3 other players in the beta was fun.

I didn't like watchdogs at all but really enjoyed the coop open world this game offers. It's so rare to find a coop open world shooter that isn't multiplayer/pvp. My buddy and I can just chill, do whatever we want in an open world. It's awesome.

Big plus of buying in steam: you can always get your money back if the game did not manage to impress you in two hours! Only unfortunately here is no 20% discount how in uplay! :arkdog:

then don't buy it. the end
I'm looking for a reason, not a copy of the conclusion I already came to.
if it's your conclusion, don't buy it. The End.

Because playing coop during the beta was a lot of fun and I'd like to play the whole game with my friends.
You sound like a nice kid that just wants to kill people -- virtually...

You're so corny

Because I like shooters... i'm still hunting for the perfect "third person shooter open world" .. none yet is perfect... this one wont probably be perfect either.. usually, they lack good replayability and the open world is alot "empty"... I thought I would not buy it because of the huge open world full of emptiness..

Then I heard about the daily/monthly/community missions and it seemed something that could give replayability alot more than all those games I've played before. While this is true that The Division also had daily/weekly quests, the problem of The division was that you needed to queue for instanced missions.. and so many people dropped the game early that the queue time increaesd quickly to the point it was boring to try to find a party to play the missions (same happened with the DLCs.. few people got back playing on release and quickly left so the queue time went so big you could queue 15 minutes before expecting to find enough players to play... in short, if no one is playing, you can't play... WTF lol).. at least, GRW gives you the choice between solo/coop so even if many people quit playing, I'll still be able to do my missions alone and it'll remain fun. So it's good. I'm sure it wont be the perfect game but it seems like a step forward to me. And if you pair the game with the Android/IOS app, it brings another dimension to the game which is really fun and could turn into something great if Ubisoft keeps working on it!

Those were the main reeasons that made me buy it. Before that, I was unsure... the game reminded me too much of Just Cause 3 (huge map, nothing to do between 2 points of interset, no random missions, no daily, no weekly.. nothing else than the story... where is replayability when you're done clearing an area of the map?) I hope it'll be as fun as I expect. ;)

EDIT: a link of what I'm talking about: https://ghostreconnetwork.ubi.com/en-CA/calendar

They will add community made missions ? that mean we will have workshop ?
I wonder if i'll buy or not this game, i have a friend who will buy it but i don't know if i'll buy or not.
I have play the beta and that was very fun, but i would like to have a little bit more depth in the game. More weapons, more customisation .. etc.

I'm looking at steam forum to see what ppl think.

I have another question for ya OP.... Why would you not buy this? Ill let ya hang on that one for a wile and figure urself.

EDIT: Im not trying to be rude. Stop asking urself why you should buy it... Ask yourself why you not would buy a game and your answer will come much easier.

1. Didn't play Watch Dogs.
2. Had fun with the demo.
3. My library gone stale.
4. Plenty of disposable income.
5. Nothing else on my horizon.
