El Boquita mission failing. Bugged?

I make it all the way into the mission and start to follow the convoy a ways and then as soon as I start to fire on the convoy, the mission fails. Is this a bug or am I doing it wrong?

Weird, you have follow El Boquita and kill him once he reach his destiny then take down the Convoy

pay attention to the mission instructions carefully, they may not be noted in your quest log so listen to bowman's instruction, she will likely tell you you need to tail him un-detected until you reach a certain point it the mission.

yea I tail him till it says to kill him and the truck and so I have the squad fire on the truck and after 10 seconds of it it says mission failed. He is still alive and driving his truck, nothing changed, I just failed for some reason

I did it opposite order, first I shot rockets at the convoy and then I shot rockets at the house :3 took like one minute
