Graphic settings on gtx 970
Hey, i noticed that i can keep almost everything at ultra or very high and keep a steady 60 fps. However, this only works with shadows OFF. Any other settings, no matter how low, will have issues if shadows are anything more than off. Anyone else have this?

My full specs:

i5 6600
GTX 970 Gaming
16 GB ddr4
Game and OS on SSD

Nevermind, I have dips into the 30s and lots of stuttering in vehicles.

The forested areas are worst.

I'm in the same situation as you mate. I just believe the game runs like crap,to be honest.

As frustrating as it is, you can't expect to play a brand new, graphically intense game on ultra without a top quality rig.....especially when it's poorly optimised: STARES AT UBISOFT.

Yes, actually i believe it's my i5 6600 which is dragging its feet. A friend has an i5 6600k and gtx970 and all in ultra no issues.

i7 4790k @ 4.4ghz with a GTX970 & 32GB Ram, no issues all good with average 60-80fps here.

Well my friends run it on Ultra with a gtx 970 but have better processors. I'm trying the Physx switch now.

Physx switch???
Naughtius_Maximus Apr 30, 2017 @ 6:41am
Meaning I switched from CPU to GPU in Physx settings in Nvidia control panel. It seems to help. That and the actual Physx switch on the left side of the computer, don't you have one? I have one on my computer seat too.

What made the difference for me and my GTX 970 was switching from full screen to borderless windows mode + Vsync OFF. Went from 30 FPS to 50-60 FPS.

Thanks I'll try that too. Are you using two screens?

Dude. This. Did it.

I went from 40-60 fps at .80 scaling to 60-70 fps at 100 scaling.

Dude how weird, it's a small world, haven't seen you on HDN for a while now. I just bought this game how do you like it? I'm running a GTX 1060 and it plays awesome.
