What is the crack with the ridiculous Unidad patrols?

I drive past a car. and it chases me literally all over the map, over rocks, up mountains.

And then when I stop, and blow the hell out of it in 5 seconds. I am (And im not joking here) thrown into a war zone of like 6 choppers, all buzzing round.
And endless.. seriously endless... cars, full to the brim of blokes, that just keep arriving, Car load after car load, until I'm all out of bullets.

And this I even tried on easy. is the same.

Is this how its supposed to be. I keep killing em, but they are endless. I have had this twice now. And so I try to avoid them like the plague..
They start with the 1 bar (chevron) of Unidad patrols but always go to full chevrons.

Surely this isn't right?

indeed you dont want to hold a prolonged engagement with them unless you mean to. they can be quite annoying when your mid-mission.

You need to avoid them, I dont have any issues if I keep driving they stay behind and at some point game says lost unidad patrol. If you're on foot kill the first guys and run away, its gonna spawn more but they'll search the area and again lost unidad patrol.

If you stay at the same spot engaging them, its endless like GTA police. I noticed that you need to move around 100-200 mts to lose them, its pretty easy on the first bars.

Ohhh Thanks guys.

So this comlete absurdity, that like a hundred blokes are just sitting-
(in some pocket doimension) -"down the road" from Wherever we are. (Be that half way up a mountain, or in the middle of nowhere.)

All suted up in full riot gear, with endless jeeps, and an airport full of fully fuled attack choppers. Ready to go at a seconds notice.. lol.

Well at least I know now.

I've never had trouble losing unidad with wheels or flying. on foot is a diff story if you don't have a straight lline to run for 30 seconds.think of unidad like the GTA police ( if you've played GTA). the more you put down, the more will come and the more friends they will bring with them. Unlike GTA tho, if you take these guys out silently, no one will care. You can take down entire unidad bases without a single reinforcement if no one realizes what's going on..but if the ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan and you stick around? the ♥♥♥♥ will continue to hit the fan faster and with more ♥♥♥♥ than a fan can take until the whole room is just filled with ♥♥♥♥ lobbed on walls and windows ..and you won't be able to move without sliding on ♥♥♥♥ and then falling into a huge ♥♥♥♥ pile of sh....well.. you get the idea.

Thanks guys, Great feedback and advice here.. As well as piles of poo, by the sound of it :)

I didntt want to sound like a hater, as I really dont. Its a great game.

And now I know what to do when big daddy. "Big Unidaddy" comes a callin. Im all set. 💎
