Hey shad0vvfax,

When did these crashes first begin affecting you? If you've not yet tried out the steps presented in our PC FAQ then please do give them a shot:

same thing here, i thought i was only me. It is random when the crash will appear. Also i cant continue from where i crash, so each time i have to enter anothers session before i return to mine.

Before i get crashes, the screen messes up my graphics

It all started going downhill after the first patch. Even then I had crashes, but not near as many. I keep getting this error about my dx_device_reset or removed. I have a laptop so my graphics are not removable. I don't understand. I tried reinstalling graphics drivers, changing registry settings related to TDR, but nothing has helped at all.

I had same problem after fallen ghosts update. I fixed it by turning off shader cache in Nvidia control panel.

Can you try windowed mode for a bit?

As you can see from the link, full screen dx reset calls are handled differently. This won't help you fix ♥♥♥♥, but you'll at least discover more about the issue. Be assured that what you're seeing (dx reset) isn't as bad as you think it is. That's just the point of where you crashed.

You can also (re)install directX from the game's folders. Right click the game in the library, properties and browse local files. Inside Wildland's folder you'll see a common_redist folder with DirectX and the setup (amidst a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of .cab files) Whilst this also may not fix ♥♥♥♥, it's at least something to do that won't take long.

It seems that disabling shader cache in the Nvidia Control Panel has seemed to make the crashes stop completely. I guess Nvidia needs to rework their shader cache routines.

It has to be Nvidias drivers or something, because its not just this game that crashes on me. Come to think of it, its most Ubisoft/EA games.

This game actually can use 11gb ddr3/4 ram alone depending on your game settings.
Lower your game settings to high.
Time to get some more ram in your pc. 16gb is minium with new games.

I launch the game, Appears EasyAntiCheat, i accept and then...black screen and I return to desktop. A solution, Ubisoft?
