You do realize there was never a PC release for any of the SSX games right? No of course you don't.

Yeah I know there was never a pc release dude I'm just saying why can't we get a ssx ported over to pc for steam if EA would allow that than it would be amazing we already have battlefield bad company 2

They would rather release it on Origin :sad_creep:

What makes it way better? This isn't trying to appeal to ssx fans...

or steep

SSX is completely different which is definitely not better considering how steep is actually realistic and SSX is not anywhere near realistic. I don't like ssx, I like steep a lot more because I prefer realistic skiing/snowboarding over completely unrealistic snowboarding. Steep also has more sports than just snowboarding and much better graphics, which means you could arguably say makes it better.

that is as you say, your opinion. i will defend to the death your right to it. but... ssx3 was one of the most perfect games ever released and i still have a ps2 specifically to play certain games; ssx3 is one of them. the soundtrack is great, and very fitting, its arcadey but not too much and its not so realistic as to make it annoying.

steep isnt a simulation. i have yet to properly die and have to create a new character, having lost my old one from cartwheeling down a cliff after i didnt have enough time to stop. instead i bounce from rock to rock, losing my score, and finally sliding to a halt and standing back up. not exactly realistic. ssx3 is just a little further back from realistic than steep is.

im not all that into sticks and planks myself (skiing) and i prefer to do my flying with jumps on a snowboard rather than wingsuit or paraglide. but each to their own... going down the mountain in ssx3 from the top of peak three all the way into the city takes a little over 30 minutes, and is great fun for me. i run out of map way before 30 minutes in steep, or i run into a cliff or off one.

oh but deadly descents wasnt much better than ssx on tour. on tour was ruined by the little tasks to knock over kids, and by the slopes being full of crowds of npcs unless it was an actual race. not my idea of fun when i cant freeride. deadly descents didnt have any nice backcountry. it was all too extreme. too many iceaxes, oxygen bottles, and other garbage. steep doesnt have oxygen bottles?
