Still broken. This is rediculous. I uninstalled and gave a thumbs-down review. My nephew played the game at my house (on my profile). I wanted to try it myself, but it always started me from his saved position. I tried to uninstall the Ubi saves, but I was then stuck at the bottom of the mountain needing to complete the first wingsuit tutorial in order to progress... by walking many km up the mountain. No thanks.

Disable Uplay cloud sync and delete your saves, then start a new game. If you want you can enable cloud sync again afterwards. If you choose to do that then next time you boot the game I THINK it will ask you which saves to use, local or cloud, choose local and carry on playing. Here's where you can find the saves[support.ubi.com]

Or if you're like me and downloaded Uplay seperately and don't have it in your program files, then go to your Uplay directory and look for the savegames folder. The Steam id will be the same (3280)

Many years on but you sir are a legend, you've just saved me the biggest headache ever
I completely forgot about this. Glad to see there's still people playing this game and I can still help someone all these years later
