I have a great pc and this game lags even on ultra settings! I mean, what type of PC this is supposed to run smooth on? I'll share my specs below

Alienware Aurora R4: Custom Built
Operating Syste: Windows 10.0 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core i7-4960X CPU 3.60GHz
Graphics Card: NVidia GeForce 780 x2 = 32GB total

Yet I can't run this game on ultra settings. I can play GTA 5 on ultra settings and world of warcraft on ultra settings but nope, not this game. Game looks fun though SSX Tricky !

Same here, i'm glad a Ubi game looks and runs good for a change. Although the framerate dropped to sub 40 when i had Flares equipped.

It runs 60fps on a 970 if you just turn off msaa.

Not for me, its a problem on the games end then, i cant get past the 55 fps mark no matter what i do in the config.

and a Banq Monitor 24 toms and 144hz
( and my game runs smoothly nn ultra setting with an FPS between 143 - 150

The game is very very CPU intensive. I run the game fine on ultra with a 970/i7 3870 @ 4.1ghz.

Your CPU is bottlenecking your GTX 1080

Maybe your pc is not so great after all.
You might have a great hardware but if you install all bloatware, "optimizers" and "cleaners" you come across and download porn in the background while running the game you will have performance issues.

Funny how I see a lot of people brag that this game runs great on their PC while they have 3x the power a PS4 has..

Don't you get it? This is just another console port, it will never run great on machines that should run it 2x better than a bloody console!

That you have a very high end pc doesn't change the fact this game is poorly optimized for PC, just like all the other Ubisoft game.. and they never will! PC isn't important to them, they just use you for some extra income on top of their sales on consoles.. and we all keep falling for it :/

The game is 0 CPU intensive, no idea what you are talking about. I dont even reach 40% processor load on my end.

Thats my concern as well, its probably a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ port.

I played on a gtx 760, i5 3570 k with 55-60 fps. Is that 3x the power of an ps4?

well your pc is not that great, even if you think it is ;) the game is really demanding ! if you max it out nearly (all ultra on 1080p with 4xmsaa) you will need a gtx 980ti to play it with constant 60fps. everything below that will be impossible !

with 4xmsaa his pc was able to barely hold 60fps in those forested areas whilst i got drops to 57 fps for a second or 2.. due to my cpu limiting slightely..

regardless of the rig, to max the game out with 8xmsaa on 1080p you need a gtx 1080 ! to max the game out on 1080p with only 4xmsaa you need a gtx 980ti as the minimum for constant 60fps !

your gtx 780 is way too weak to max the game out. disable msaa completely and try again ;)

Everyone who runs MSAA on ultra is an idiot anyway, it gives 1 to 0 boost in graphic, and just eats VRAM away. The game is 0 demanding actually, i have 1.9GB spare VRAM with everythink on ultra, except MSA and AA, which i dont give a ♥♥♥♥ about anyway. And its still on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fps.
