Is this game worth buying?

Played the Alpha of the game. Felt extremely ♥♥♥♥ing bad. I'm talking about the tricks feeling nothing to be proud of, you literally only pressed one button. It wasn't satisfying to land anything.

Played beta. Tricks still felt like nothing.

Own Watch_Dogs 2, yet another Ubisoft game I am extremely disappointed in, basically hate everything about that game which is why I'm hesitating to buy Steep even though I absolutely love these type of games. (Thanks, SSX)

So the questions are:

Should I trust the good reviews on Steam?
Should I wait for a sale? (60 bucks is a bit too much for what it has to offer imo)
And, of course. Should I buy this game?

Maybe you only press one button, the trick system is very big. The positive reviews are fair. If you are a ski/snowboard enthusiast buy it now. Otherwise buy it in a sale. There's another big mountain Alaska coming with double content. The game is worh it.

I've read a guide on how do tricks. Doesn't seem "very big" to me. I'm also not looking to buy a DLC just because they are going to add ONE SINGLE area. Just not worth it.

I enjoy the game...
There are many different tricks. You just have to mess around.
Yes i would recommend waiting just to see how committed they are to the game (updates etc.) Especially if you aren't sure of buying it. ;)
I'd say give it another try. But its up to you.
