I updated my AMD drivers, no difference. I have minimal background apps running so I didn’t do that step especially since no other game behaves this poorly. My windows is up to date. Game is set to launch in Admin mode.
I installed the provided DLLs in the support folder of the game, DX apis and the C++ runtime and whatever else was in there besides UPlay, following exactly the instructions on your link and... reallllll nice.
After the windows boot animation, I only see a black screen. Now I have an even bigger problem to deal with...
Anyways... the updated DLLs did not help. In fact I think they made things slightly worse. The dips are lower then before when I run the benchmark.
Here is a google drive with the benchmark results. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/170lvmnQalbt350DqhKGxmbX-kvhdeZfF?usp=sharing
NoSSBC-High.html is the High graphic setting preset without SSBC AO.
SSBC-High.html is High graphic settings with SSBC turned on
NoSSBC-High-PostUpdate.html is after installind DX?? and the C++ runtimes provided in the support folder of the game.
Please let me know what I can do to fix the terrible FPS dips in the game.
PS. Please revise the support links you provided me, especially the one that tells me to re-install random dependencies like the C++ runtime. It's a really bad user experience to reboot after the repair install and have windows be a full black screen. Plus random non-tech people don't have a whole lot of business messing with these dependencies anyways.
Dont confuse poor optimization with your PC not be able to run the game, optimizations can only do so much, eventually your hardware just wont work for new games that are extremely graphically demanding such as this one.
every AMD User has this problem, dont try to defend this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going on here. There are countless threads with AMD users all having the same problems
Sadly don't have any advise to give others that are experiencing this issue. Just update your drivers/game and hope for the best, it's what ultimately worked for me.
