Multiplayer does not work

Two friends and I bought the game recently as we'd like to play together. However all of us cannot connect when we go to social in the game. Nothing happens when trying to join a group or inviting a friend.
We play dozens of games together online with zero issues, even GR Wildlands (also Ubisoft), we can see each other on this stupid Uplay overlay but in the game: nothing.

I can see my friends list on the right and it says 0/10 connected, same for all my friends.

Hey Edgar Lindner! Thanks for your report, I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this.

Our development teams are actively investigating an issue related this, if you could provide some screenshots showing that your friend is online but not visible in-game I can pass this along as part of that investigation.

Let me know if you get stuck with anything.

i have the same problem. if u look at the connection icon in the top middle in the social menu, i see that the connection is non existent. i tierd everything... from reinstalling the game over reastablishing my internetconnection to changing my internet ports. But still to no result...
I have the feeling that something snapped inside the game after an update but i havent quiet figured out what could have done it.

Support ticket is 07849196. Just tried again and in game it seems I am offline at the social tab but I still get my friends scores updated etc.

Noone can play online together!

Take it no one has a fix for this still? I can't refund the game because I bought it on Uplay, but I've tried every single "solution" that I've found while searching for a fix, but nothing works here. It's such a bizarre issue, because I can see my friends scores and even go so far as to spectate them, yet the invite and join group buttons just don't do anything, no error code to search or anything they just don't function and my connection is in the red.

Still the same here. I tried everything and it just does not work. Developers this is on you. It is not us, not our PCs, not our network connection.

It is up to you to do something. Patch it please asap.

Same here with scores and spectate but no invite possible.

same here.. this is a colossal failure as I bought the game only to play with friends. How in the blue hell can you have an open world Sport game where you cannot play with friends ? Such failure ubi.

Yes indeed it sucks but it seems they will not ever fix it. Does not look good on the devs and the publisher....oh wait it is Ubisoft, I should have known better before I bought.

But to state it clearly: Multiplayer DOES NOT WORK FOR MOST PEOPLE IT SEEMS!

?? hi , just for say i have lots couple of hours on this game .. i have no trouble on multiplay with Steam friend or with Uplay friend or directly on JcJ in game
