No Helicopter in Offline Mode?

OK so please explain the crazy of this game for me. I didn't have internet the other day so I played steep offline. I tried to free roam and I can't seem to go anywhere far with out walking to it.

So are there no helicopters in offline mode and whats the point of planting flags if I can't warp to the flag I planted? What Am I doing wrong?

i can't fly anywhere or select events to play, i think its a bug/glitch

I hope it's a glitch that they know about, because offline mode is a joke right now if you can't do anything in it.

yeah, the game is completely broken for me right because of this glitch, but for me its online or offline. and yes, I hope they do know about it, the issue started when the road to lympics DlC came out though so i haven't been able to play for months

That sucks!

They have some season stuff in the woirks right now and yester they reset the leader boards. Either they ignoring thius glitch or they have no idea. I'm going to try to contact them about it.

Usually you just click on the mountain where you want to go. You dont have to use drop zones. I use a pad but i read in another thread on m+k you have to use space. What button are you guys using to try and start events or travel?

Try everthing space bar, enter, click. They may have just altered the binding :)

always simply chose where i wanted to go and left click with mouse, and that always worked, now no luck, tried space tried enter tried all that, nothing, and if they changed it why would it still say left click?

always simply chose where i wanted to go and left click with mouse, and that always worked, now no luck, tried space tried enter tried all that, nothing, and if they changed it why would it still say left click?

I'm on PS4. We press R3 to put flags, triangle is to restart and circle is to view the whole mountain. When I play offline I can't go anywhere with out walking to it. I have to start where ever I was when I was playing online.

Whats the point of putting flags? are they suppose to be a way to teleport to a location? If so, they don''t work at all offline.

Maybe it is an offline thing. I dont think iv ever played this offline.

A temp solution could be to paraglide up the mountain. Or if you have the dlc rocket wings are faaaaaast to travel with...also avalible to buy for credits i think :)

you kno whow you can see events on the map? and you can select which events you want to do? yeah that doesn't work anymore, always did before, and i could always use helicopter tickets to go any where on the mountains, that doesn't work anymore.

you kno whow you can see events on the map? and you can select which events you want to do? yeah that doesn't work anymore, always did before, and i could always use helicopter tickets to go any where on the mountains, that doesn't work anymore.

If you trying to do the events offline that's not going to work, they said all that stuff is locked out when you play offline. If you play online you can access the events.

My issue is that I can't free roam when I'm offline. I know I can't do events offline.

i have internet conection and never did i change my settings to offline. by events i mean the in game "missions" in anycase i shouldn;t have an issue because i am online, maybe i will go back into the game and make sure i am playing online.
