Annoying G Force bar.
Very often in this game I hit the ground hard and I go into the red with my bar very low. Then I go off another jump and the bar STAYS and doesn't go up. So of course I wipe out even on small or soft landings because the bar did not move at all. Seriously gets annoying and I have no idea why the bar does not go back to full.

Slow down. It will help bring the G Force bar back.

you will know why the bar doesn't go back if you play snowboard in real life.

I don't think I've ever played snowboard in real life.

I know i've ridden a snowboard in real life...

well if you are on the verge to fall irl, do you try another jump or do you try to stop? the g-force bar is here for that

Well sometimes for example I was doing a challenge where I need trick points so I am going pretty fast and I have to keep going off the jumps or I wont get enough points. I understand being on the verge to fall but what I am talking about is when I recover (or should be recovering) and my bar stays where it is at. At least it seems like I should be recovering is the situations where this happens to me.

As said, this game is far more forgiving than IRL, however, it still has some limits to keep it from going full arcade.

I've gone back to play races I used to think were barely possible, and gotten 2x or 3x the required points for gold. Why? Because over time you learn what you can get away with, you learn how to push the envelope, you get better at the game.

The biggest thing you can do to reduce the g-force meter is pay attention to how and where you are landing. You idealy want to land on a downward slope relative to your movement. If you can't do that, reduce your speed for that jump.

Sometimes, it really is pure rng, and that's something they will have to dial in, but most of the time simply keeping your eyes open and paying attention to how you are moving and how fast will reduce the impact of the g-force meter on your runs. Also, if you can allow it, always slow down as much as you can to regenerate the meter after big unavoidable hits.

I agree it could be annoying sometimes, but the game would be way too easy without gforce.

I agree with OP, the G Force thing is just poorly implemented.
It makes no sense that the smallest hill wipes you out after you just survived an insane drop, and of course it makes no sense to drop dead from standing still on a rock.

Imo the recovery rate is way too slow, it`s missing a speed threshold and minimal bumps shouldn`t add to it at all.

As for reducing speed ... in the unlikely case you even have enough control left it`s often the try to slow down itself that wipes you out because carving in also adds pressure (which at least makes sense).
