It's locked behind DLC...

I am not talking about doing the tutorial etc to unlock the base game mechanics. I'm talking about the stuff outside of the base game which affects gameplay. Nothing cosmetic.

nope, you get all 4 sports that were originally annouced and playable during Beta, Wingsuit, Paraglider, Snowboard, and Ski right from the start, the sports being released at a later date are an added extra and were never mentioned before the season pass was announced.
(P.S. if you buy the gold edition you get the season pass included, and it costs a lot less than buying the regular edition and then a season pass)

so you have issue with any game that you have to pay for DLC (e.g. Civilisation, Dark Souls, Fallout etc..)?
Well it was EA that started it, with the Mac Daddy of all pay for content games, The Sims.
I don't agree or disagree with the business practice, as i can see negatives and postives for both free bonus content and payed bonus content models. I do however still prefer some free content updates from companies as a way of saying thank you for purchasing their game.

did you complete the tutorial yet?

cos u dont unlock all the sports untill u do the tutorial.

also there are xtra sports that come with the season pass if you want to but that optional and its really cheap soo....

Ubisoft is well known for locking content behind DLC.
