DS4 Controller
Any one out there use one of these for Steep?

I used DS4windows when i first got my DS4 to emulate a 360 controller, that works great.

But now the game thinks its a xbox controller and shows me xbox controlls, i know it's virtually the same, but would like to see the right buttons show up on screen.

Anyone out there have any idea? Even with DS4windows disabled it does this.

strange.. with ds4windows j2k disabled my ps4 controller works flawlessly and show sthe ps4 buttons.. maybe you haven'T correctly disabled your ds4windows ?? not completely ??

with ds4windows enabled it shows the xbox 360 buttons ofc, BUT unfortunately uplay has a freeze issue with my ds4windows j2k.. before the game starts, uplay freezes my pc for a minute or 2 (without any damage.. its just that uplay tries to get the ds4 controller working natively even though you are emulating a xbox 360 controller with this and this conflict results in a freeze.. i would love to get a fix for that but thats up to ubisoft and uplay and after being like that for 1.5 years i think they will never ever fix it) so i have to use my ds4 controller natively in all ubisoft games (and i hate that because ds4windows is much better.. sooo many more options :D

DS4windows is working fine for me, no freeze ups, but I even tried un-installing everything, and it still recognized as a xbox controller, i've tried everything i think other than doing a fress install of my OS and drivers, so there is no remenents of something causing this conflitct but I dont have the time for that right now.

Game works I guess, hopefully someone else will end up with this issue and Ill fix it then.

No, what can it offer than DS4windows doesnt? DS4windows, i tried running in Dinput mode did nothing, and exclusive mode.

you dont need DS4 for steep, im not using it atleast... i thought you had to at first but then i closed it since the game kept showing PS4 controller buttions

... I know you don't need it

That's not my issue, my issue is I CANT SEE THE PS4 CONTROLLER BUTTON, even when not using it.
