But, 1080 felt more controlled as a racer whereas Steep controlls like ass at high speeds and often ends in poor input response due to the "gforce" mechanics causing every little bump to give you control issue.
Steep is the better over all wintersport game.
1080 was the better snow racing experience.
And yeah, the snow was pretty damned good back then. Steep is great in sound design but it looks like I'm climbing through some weird putty.

Dolphin emulator with the graphics boost makes 1080 avalanche looks good
I'll have to give that a shot some time. I've been meaning to get into Dolphin as I kind of want to downsize my Physical collection anyway.
