Steep
Can i add to steam?
As title suggests

I own this (gold edition) on uplay and was wondering if i could add it to my library as a *non-steam game* or would it flag my account or w/e?

thanks

Copy your uplay key and put it in steams key activator. You should then have the game on steam aswel as uplay. Iv done it before but the other way around, copied a steam key for trials fusion into uplay, and copied nfs rivals steam key into origin and it worked fine both times

No that won't work.
Reason that worked for you is that those are the original platforms for the games. It won't work the other way around.

And don't know how you copied a NFS Rivals STEAM key into origin, since it has never been on steam :P

allright :P Won't work the other way around though. EA want you to use ORIGIN, and UBISOFT want you to use UPLAY. That's also the reason games go on sale much much faster on those platforms. Valve takes % of their earnings when we purchase their games through steam.

I'm the same, I prefer my games in the same place. I mainly game on my shield tv tho, so all platforms are neatly together side by side, its bliss :)

cheers guys, but wont it sign me into both accounts or would it just default steam (if both, i might just not do it lol) thanks all

It would sign you into uplay every time, adding the exe to steam only gives you the option to launch the game though the steam UI
