Horrible FPS stuttering.
Anyone else have this? I have a good rig and yet my game runs at 40FPS and every 10 seconds drops to 10fps for a couple of secounds.

What type of rig do you have? Also did you make sure to update your graphics card drivers? Game runs great maxed out with 4X MSAA for me!

I have an i7 6700k OC, 16gb of 3200ghz DDR4 ram, a Radeon RX 480 8GB OC. Everything is up to date that is the first thing I checked.

I don't use AMD graphics, but I found that using the in-game auto-detect graphics option, instead of using the auto-detect/optimize option offered for my Invidia card, greatly improved FPS/performance. Assuming your Radeon card offers the same option, this might be the problem or a zillion others things could be occuring in the background of your pc and causing this poor performance.

Make sure you didnt accidently set the resolution scale past 1 or it will be rendering above your screens resolution and can kill performance.

Yeah I think I found the issue. My computer is brand new, only a week old. There was a GPU optimization suite that came with the motherboard drivers that was pumping the power usages way up for my card and it was causing horrrible performance. I got rid of that program and all my games nearly tripled in performance.

Glad to hear it! Ya if you OC past a certain point you can lose performance, im surprised your PC wasnt locking up.

Yeah I didn't realize the program was even running, it wasn't in my system tray and I thought I got rid of all the bloat wear.
