How to trigger character-specific cutscenes after mission?
I am pretty sure that this is a new feature, and i don't really understand how it works. It looks like you can get those cutscenes if you choose support card with 3 stars, but it works only on free missions. Also no matter how much missions i play,3 star Hibari card just won't pop up.Do i need to upgrade her personal ability or i am just unlucky and it's random?

Probably just unlucky, I haven't seen a single one of them yet my co-op partner has seen 3 of them so far, I'm jealous. No idea what they're for though.

I've seen 3 with Kanon (2 of them were teh same cookie thing.....although I thought her cookies looked awesome). 2 With Hibari and 1 with Alisa. It HAS to be a side mission, and you have to pick their Avatar card. Also, you have to use them regularly.

I think it's totally random chance whenever you picked their cards.
There are times where I picked said character for 5 times in a row without anything happening, but later gets 2 cutscenes back to back with the same character.
Does this actually do anything? I've seen these multiple times with different characters. If the cutscenes are just for show, that's kinda disappointing. They could have added more depth to your relation with party members, having these cutscenes play when you reach a certain level of affinity with them or something

AFAIK they do nothing. Shame indeed.

i noticed that when you pick their avatar card and it has 3 stars or whatever symbol it was on it the cutscene usually gets triggered

I was wondering about these cutscenes.
I'd had 2 with Kanon and was wondering if there was some kind of relationship system or what not.

No relationship system at all, thoses cutscenes are purely there to bring a bit of life in the game. You don't get anything from them.

Just to get to know the characters a little more.

The one with Gina having you pose was really amusing the first time I saw it xD

Tsubaki always triggers the cutscene when I use one of her support skills that its starting to get annoying, there should of been an option to turn off the cutscenes since its always the same and gets old real fast.

Would be interested in knowing the formula as well, but from my playthrough I think it's just purely random. I usually would just get them (far as I could tell) when I would use whatever character for support several times.

There's been times where I got multiple (same character) in a row though, so I have no clue.

I've only gotten the main cast characters since I never used the other characters outside of being forced to for a story mission or two. I'd imagine all the characters have cutscenes though, probably. I've gotten Kota, Alisa (Figured I'd spoiler this since she isn't at the very beginning. Need a little progress.), Lindow, Sakuya, Hibari, Tsubaki (The instructor lady), & Soma.

I think the cutscenes are all pretty interesting, kinda annoying after you see them all though. I think I recall like at least 3 variations per character but I usually got one specific scene above all others.

The problem is, more often than not, you see the cutscenes related to your operators. Because they have the most important skills, especially the all powerful Support +1 . This is because operators tend to trigger their skills more, having more of them, and especially more at level 3. It's rare when you don't have your operator triggering the skills you really want, and you have to use the ones of your fighters. And even worse when said fighters have bad support skills(like ignore time, for Brendan).

You simply need to upgrade hibary skills to the max level. It will show you 3 star cards almost always.

Hibary cutscenes are boring though, so you might get disappointed.

P.S. not all skills to the max lvl, just the ones equiped.

This was adding in because GE 2 had it

In GE 2 there were character specific stories. Some characters even go through playstyle changes after completion. They also gave the characters more abilities(Blood arts).
You get specific missions usually just pairing with that character.

In GE 1 its just there. No real purpose

As for getting these cut-scenes it seems random. I just keep bring them along and eventually it will play. I think its based on more than just the cards. Give her support redraw or +1 draw pick her cards out more than others and it should trigger.

That's why you change them.

I really agree on the turning off option.

Late game you /really/ start to use a lot of support character skills because of that arc +1 skill, and because of that you can't imagine how many times I heard Hibari talking to me.

Before her it was Soma, I love him and his personality but too much is too much.

Others like Sakuya or Alisa are really rare to see as why on earth do I even want to use. "Ignore time" or "Additional Credits" when they are perfectly safe to say useless.
