Am I near of the end ?
Hey !

I'm currently at difficulty level 7, and I would like to quickly finish the main story for start God Eater 2, but I feel the game is far from over. I'm at the mission where I have to beat an Aether at level 7.

My question is: Is there still a lot of mission before ending the story or not ? I like the game but I find it too long and I would like to finish it quickly enough. So, is the end far or not ?

Thank you in advance.

Well

If my memory serves me right the base story ends at around difficulty 13ish ?

but after that they expanded the story with DLCs later so you might be looking at difficulty level 16 or 17 (been a while since I last played) do know this, expanded story involves a new monster wich is probably not as hard as the Dyaus Pita (f*ck that thing and whoever came up with it)

Well, I just finish the level 10, and the story keeps on. :steamsad:

How many mission are left ? Is there a real interest to keep on ? The end of the story is interesting or stop now (after defeating corrosive hannibal) will not change anything ?

I like the game but...it's really, really long.
And yes, Dyaus Pita is the worst thing.

well the way I remember it you should be really close now though after you're done with the main story there's the story DLC to go through wich adds in a new monster to fight (as in not a palette swap)

just know this, the last boss CAN be farmed for gear wich so happens to pretty much be the kryptonite of the Dyaus Pita, and it also looks kinda cool with its color gradients, the same last boss wich happens to be a complete pushover compared to the Dyaus Pita (like seriously it feels insulting how easy it feels in comparison)

for comparison

if the Dyaus Pita's difficulty was rated 20

the last boss is basically rated 10

he's barely any harder than anything you fought thus far (ignoring the Dyaus)

and I've yet to dabble in the story DLC since I somehow lost my save file and had to restart from the very beginning (though I will say killing the first Vajra you ever encounter solo with basic stuff DID feel damn good, and the advisor singing my praises made it all the more sweeter)

The story ends at the final difficulty 13 mission, I just finished it myself yesterday. And yes it is worth it to continue playing till the end.
Also if you think Dyaus Pita is tough wait till you meet a Blitz Hannibal. It practically makes the Dyaus Pita look like a pushover.

Thanks for you answers.

Last question:

The true last boss is difficult compared to the corrosive hannibal ? He gave me a headache, I was really close to defeat. Will I have trouble going to level 13 if I had so much trouble on the corrosive hannibal?

Thats depend on your god arc rank, at least you upgrade it to rank 12 or 13 also the Corrosive Hannibal is not that difficult to kill it, just focus on his head and arms

There's still difficulty 14, but yes, the "real" story ends at difficulty 13. The last boss is pretty much like a Dyaus Pita.
