Serpent Soft Steel?

Where can I get this? It's not on any of the reward lists in Hanibal missions. I killed quite a few, and broke all 3 parts most of the time and still can't find any.

It is indeed from Hannibals. But it's from difficulty 9 Hannibals. You can get it when breaking parts from said Hannibal. There is an incomplete material list here: http://godeater.wikia.com/wiki/Materials

I did the mission 5 times since I wrote this (breaking all parts), and a couple of times before that since I was farming other Serpent materials. I'm swimming in Iron but zero Steel :x

It's starting to drive me mad especially since I can't see it on the mission select menu :/

I assume you're doing it at the right difficulty, but if push comes to shove, I think it's possible to trade tickets for it, or to use a lot of irons to make a steel. To help you, bring Alt Masked Ogre, his skills help a lot for farming materials. Also use mission reward up and bond break reward on your support.

If it is not written on the mission drop tables, it's not going to drop. It never does.

The best choice is to progress, they sometimes actually fall like rain on the next rank.

I ended up crafting it out of 10 Iron (I had 86 Iron and 0 Steel). Don't know what unlocked the Steel crafting recipe cause I didn't have it for a long time.

Like I mentioned, it's a difficulty 9 one. If you are fighting it on a lower difficulty, there is no chance the thingy will drop.

None of the Hanibals has Steel as a drop in the mission list and I checked up to difficulty 13. And yes, I was farming the Diff 9 one that comes with the Vajra.

Dont take that wikia list to heart. That is valid for GE2, not always for GER. If you can get it in the mission, even through breaking, it will show in the mission rewards list. Sometimes you can get it through devouring too, devouring rewards don;t show in the mission list.
