One hit killing Vajuras? That was cringeworthy...
Woah what the? Is there a comic or something? I only thought there was the 13 episode animie.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zr56o5oRsWg
This is horrifying.
And in general i think the anime is not bad at all for showing the setting and characters, the animation is very good and the action as well, and personally i would love to see the Lindow from the anime in the game since he always puts a smile on your face with his attitude and relaxed personality.
As for Alisa, she's eyecandy and the only character that really draws ppl to the series from pictures alone, and personality wise u get plenty of warning she's unstable(even in the anime) so what did u expect?? her being normal in a world that messed up?
I would love to see a sequel to the anime tbh just to see more of the setting(and less flashbacks) then now.
As a final note to any anime fan, never try to compare anime with its source material(be it manga or a game) couse u will always be dissapointed, just enjoy what u see and don't be to harsh.
I do feel the games and anime have to be taken for what they are. Games present things one way, anime in another. Sure, the anime took a lot of liberties with the story, but I think overall it worked well enough. I enjoyed them both.
But that was wrong.
Sakaki did not make the oracle cells, they appeared out of nowhere.
He and Schksal were studying them for years, and Shicksal did not need to lie to keep his fundind because they were being funded by Fenrir AFTER the cells already became aragami and started devouring people.
Also, those guns they made for the soldiers before making God Eaters also came AFTER soma was born because you also did need oracle cells injections to use them and the P53 could not be developed before they studied Soma. Those smal guns are also a primitive God Arc. They were the pre-first-gen kind Gen used back on his day.
And that Managarm Project Paylor, Johanes e Aisha were working on was right from the start a project to embed Bias Factor into humans, so Oracle Cells would not devour them. They didn't made it after planning the God Arc, the exact opposite actually.
And it wasn't Sakaki who designed the God Arc all by himself, it was Schicksal with a bunch of other Fenrir engineers. It also was Schicksal who developed the Anti Aragami Wall based on the Sakaki's prototype that saved his life.
And you just proved one of my points... the game gives us so little background details, I didn't know those were differences between official lore and the anime. I'm sure some of it is in the game's database files, but it didn't 'stick' with me the way the anime did.
Official canon or not, the anime did a better job telling a story.
At some point it is mentioned that Fenrir was a company studying Oracle cells before Aragami attacked, and when they attacked Fenrir stepped up as they where the company with the most knowledge on what what was happening.
Anime usually add or take away from the original concept to make it a new experiance for everyone and to add drama.
At least anime adaptations are not as bad as Uwe bolls game-based movies.
Anime : Lindow went MIA after the squad take on Pita the 2nd time and he found Shio after Pita was defeated
Game : Lindow went MIA after being attacked by those Ice Vajras (i forgot the name) and then he solos Pita...after his MIA Lenka/Protagonist and the band found Shio before they fought Pita
Character wise :
Yuu : has no emotions, dosent have his own feelings, no backstory
Lenka : complete opposite to Yuu
