Good luck God Eater
- available from the start of the game
- provide constant dps
- most early game enemies has revealing weakspot and can be killed with simply lock on and spam
- requires no recovery item
- works until end game with decent rank equipment or you can switch to meteor / hdh once you get enough mats
- avoid grinding by abusing ignore bond + reward rate up skill to easily getting tickets.
Tbh I used different method when I'm rushing ger story which allow me to finish the game up to arius nova in about 10h22m, but with this, under 10h is possible and much easier than my method.
For me Lenka 2nd God Arc suits me (and by Lenka 2nd god arc i mean the one you craft from the anime pita in difficulty 6) Reasoning behind it is because it generally deals a ton of damage against almost any single aragami
Um. GER has a very simple rule that lets you easy mode pretty much everything if you're willing to do some searching around or experimenting with the game's Bullet Editor system. Guns are king in this game. Most notably there's a Sniper that gives you really high piercing damage, but absolutely no crushing damage. With one of the more advanced bullets (Namely HDH) you can one to two shot any small aragami, and clear out most medium and large aragami in under five minutes. I honestly would not have gotten past the final boss or the corrosive hannibal if I hadn't been using the HDH/Arbalest(Upgraded Gastraphetes) combo. Pair that or the crush equivalent of the Arbalest (I believe it's a cannon?) with the crush equivalent of HDH with an Oracle Sword and the right Predator Style mods for oracle generation/consumption and you can easymode pretty much the entire game with no ♥♥♥♥♥.
It really depends on personal prefrence...and of course, one man's meat is another man's poison so in my case im going 100% melee
"My playstyle is objectively worse, but everything is just personal preference"
kek.
The only moment where I would use such bullet is post game for challenge missions. Maybe, as I consider an assault rifle way better. Snipers just can't deliver the DPS needed for the OP the bullets cost.
Using the ability to debuff the ennemy's armor for a sniper is way more interesting in my book, and in terms of damage for OPs may even end up superior.
100% gun and 100% melee are both less efficient than a good mix between melee and gun. Melee still feeds your gun ammo faster than rapid fire bullets, AND do more damage doing so. Unless you use an oracle sword, but that's just silly.
Even if you run a red mist build, boosting your melee a lot, you can pull your gun for a big spike of damage once your OP bar fills. shotguns and blast guns exist for people who want to mostly stay melee and only shoot very rarely. They complement this fighting style perfectly, especially the so called "spirit bombs" kind of bullets for the blast gun.
There is an other reason to not rely on one type of style: Ennemies have two kind of armors, one for bullets of both kind, and one for all the melee types. Tuskyomi are pretty much the epitome of: "Don't 100% gun".
I consider it's good though to pull your gun every once in a while and disengage. That way, you can shoot aragami bullets to your teamates, which allows you to stay in burst with the all powerful mutual burst skill, which is a must have, all while boosting your teamates. It's especially true in multi. If your teamate doesn't bring you to level 3 burst in the first minutes, something is very wrong.
I consider a good flowchart is: Intro shots/fill clip, get as much predator styles bonus as you can, use the bullets you got to feed your teamates to burst 3, melee to fill the OP bar, disengage, shoot/fill clip and feed teamates, go back to melee, alternate the last two until ennemy is dead.
Melee weapons wise though, I advise against the hammer unless you fight quadrigas or Ouroboros maybe. Basically big and slow ennemis. Hammer is pretty hard to handle correctly. Knives are serviceable no matter what, and offert both pierce and slash in good balance. In general I would say you want something with slash, because bullets won't cover the slash category at all, giving you better coverage if you go after bonds.
It is of course completly possible to do everything with any combinaison fo weapons and just the vanilla bullets, or slightly adjusted version of them.
Frugal and Trigger Happy are the big skills, which are default on the Fin Edge and Gigas Cannon respectively. After that, nice skills to get are ones that boost damage output and durability, like Gun ATK, whatever boosts Bullet module damage, DEF, and HP regen during Burst.
I use sniper bullets with assault guns. Best DPS I have met so far. And I can aim it.
