Difference between the anime and the game.

Anime = Lenka

The game and the anime follow about the same story line. However, the anime focuses more on BAck story and character development. In my opinion, I learned more about the characters and their actions in the anime than in the game.

Isnt the protagonist in the game Hiro Kamui? everyone knows Kamui is from GE2 but in GER you can play as Lenka...

Plus Lenka is way better than Yuu...ignoring the Yuuism here but Lenka has the feel of someone evolving from a reckless recruit to a captain, where Yuu is the same throughout the story

It isnt as awful as you describe...Maybe its just one man's meat is another man's poison...im fine with both the anime and the game...if you were to call the anime of GE "awful", you should watch Zestiria's anime adaptation, which is WAY awful and boring compared to GE

there isnt any sins....the game is the game....the manga just took some of the game and made a new story around it with the exsisting story and characters. Seriously if it wasnt based on the game and was something completely new because it was by ufotable you would be touching yourself into the middle of next week

its like people who seem to think the awful resident evil movies MUST connect to the games someone or that the awful transformers films MUST connect to the good transformers cartoons in some mental way

They actually must, yes, else you should not bother calling them Resident Evil or Transformers. There are plenty of names to give to morphing robots movies and zombie movies.

GE anime was pretty darn crap. I mean sure some of the characters have more background but that came to the expense of characters being changed. Lindow's not that cocky and laid back, Sakuya's a bit too stern, Alisa's mostly victimized, Soma never met Shio so his character doesnt really develop, Kota's still the same.

Also the Anime was wayyy too edgy for its own good. Animation is top tier with that unlimited budget works magic
