Has anyone been able to properly set up gyro controls on Steam Deck for this game?

So, I've been spending a long while tinkering around with the control options both on this game and on Steam Deck, trying to find a real good workaround to get gyro to properly function for this game, but I keep hitting a snag somewhere along the way.

Obviously, this game wasn't designed with gyro in mind so simply mapping the gyro feature to the right stick isn't exactly the best option since it will "simulate" the gyro but that won't exactly give you the most fluid option as the right stick has a limit that the gyro can't open.

Now the most common way to get gyro to work properly is to instead make the Steam Deck trick the game into thinking the controller you are holding is a KB+M, that way you just simply map the gyro to the mouse, and yep, it works PERFECTLY. Unfortunately, something wrong is going on here where the game just refuses to detect the WSAD and space bar controls no matter how accurately I map things out. I even went out of my way to change the controls in the game so that they are completely different and detectable keys and mapping those keys to the controller to see if I get any results, but the game just outright refuses to input anything. It's a shame because I got the gyro/mouse to work, but nothing else is working.

Has anyone been able to figure out anything with this? I realize it's an oddly specific demand because not a lot of people even like gyro to begin with, but if any game NEEDS gyro support, it's this one.

Damn that sucks. Playihng this on the go seems like a dream, but i have a gaming laptop that runs this at 165 fps on the go so I am living the dream. And this feels amazing on MKB. But hopefully it works out for ya.

Does gyro work when you have a gyro controller while playing on the pc? Not steam deck, pc.

Congrats my dude. Hope you enjoy it. As for your gyro controller question, the same issue occurs. I'm gonna try and continue tinkering with the game's settings to see what works.

NICE! Where did you upload this layout? Vanquish is so awesome. I love mouse and keyboard for this game but the Deck has options with the touch and gyro.
