The game is meant to be replayable, especially for score.

No, it's an older game that was ported to PC a year after it released on consoles. What you see is what you get.

5-6 the first time but after you learn how the levels flow it drops to 3-4. Its still fun tho

Replaying it on PC now, but as most have stated, about 5-6 hours is right. There is an extra difficutly titled "God Hard", which changes the pacing drastically, it's not your typical small step up from the previous setting. Then there is the 6 tactical challenges and that's about it. It does get repetitive but it plays and controls so well, you won't really be bothered by that.
